Founder

Trilbian Pettigrew is the founder of Change for the Better Services. I hold a master’s degree in developmental psychology and have over five years of experience working with students with special needs. With a background in adapted curriculum and a passion for helping children learn in ways that fit their unique strengths, I am dedicated to supporting students’ academic growth, confidence, and independence.

My approach is individualized, goal-focused, and rooted in evidence-based strategies, ensuring each child receives the guidance they need to succeed both in school and in life.

About the Company

Change for the Better provides individualized life skills support for children, teens, and adults with special needs—serving individuals aged 6–18 and 19 and above. Our services are designed to build independence, confidence, and practical skills for everyday life.

We focus on essential life skills such as communication, social skills, emotional regulation, self-advocacy, and daily living routines. Using a personalized, strengths-based approach, we support individuals with developmental, learning, and adaptive needs as they work toward greater independence at home, school, work, and in the community.

At Change for the Better, we believe meaningful growth is always possible—and the right support can make all the difference.
